Intrepid Education Support and Unlimited Potential Tutoring have collaborated to create fun and creative workshops for children ages 3-5 years old to work specifically on skills that will help them thrive once they enter ‘big’ school. Some of the skills we will be working towards include: Fine motor skills – pencil grip and name writing, and opening lunchboxes and containers. Gross motor skills – large body movement, coordination, and core stability. Independence skills – zipping up bags and jumpers, tying shoelaces, and looking after belongings. Social skills – making friends, collaboration, negotiation, turn taking, and cooperation. Emotional skills – regulation skills, sharing, and patience.
Our Teaching
We offer a holistic approach to prepare children for their educational journey, addressing not only academic skills but also social and emotional development, which are crucial for a successful school experience. These workshops benefit children, parents, and educators by fostering a smoother transition into the school environment and setting the stage for a lifetime of learning.
